GW Unveils Greenhouse Gas Management Certificate Program

The Greenhouse Gas Management Institute has partnered with The George Washington University to create a Graduate Certificate in Greenhouse Gas Management. This graduate program prepares students to contribute professionally to a low-carbon future.

The Paris Agreement calls for significant short and long-term reductions of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The next generation will need to be equipped to manage and successfully implement many aspects of Nationally Determined Contributions.

As the program’s brochure details, this accredited certificate provides an academic route to acquiring the knowledge associated with managing GHG emissions using accepted good practice. Specifically, the program addresses the measurement, reporting, analysis, reduction, trading, and verification of GHG emissions. It is conducted as an online program with video instruction, available globally.
