Public-Private Sector Dialogue on Carbon Pricing in Chile: The Ministry of Environment of Chile together with the CPLC are organizing a high-level dialogue with business leaders in Santiago, Chile on November 2. To be opened by the minister and vice minister of environment, the event will include an overview of the global carbon pricing initiatives and an overview of the Emissions Trading simulation among leading private sector companies in Brazil. About 20 private sector leaders from Chile will have the opportunity to learn from other regional experiences, and discuss among themselves and with the government how to collaborate in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
