The State and Trends of Carbon Pricing report series covers the latest developments and trends in carbon pricing instruments around the world. It provides both detailed updates to carbon pricing initiatives in operation or those coming online, as well as flagging broader issues in the design and debate over these instruments.

A notable addition to this year’s edition is the section on carbon crediting mechanisms, alongside the traditional focus on carbon taxes and ETSs.
